Quilt Designs

My quilt designs begin with my tradigital artwork and take shape through a collage-style approach to fabric rather than traditional quilting methods. I layer colours, textures and shapes to create detailed landscapes, symbolic scenes and characters with a strong sense of story. Although these pieces are created as art quilts, many of the designs can also be adapted as patterns for traditional quilting, allowing the imagery to be explored in different creative ways.
